I’ve lived through many eras of intelligent systems.
From statistical models to fuzzy logic. From expert systems to enterprise-scale AI.
But the journey started in 1985—across the table from Dr. John Gray at BHP Steel (see pic).

That’s where I first learned the fundamentals of deduction, induction, and—most importantly—abduction – the intuitive leap. The creative hypothesis. The uniquely human move.
Since then, I’ve been part of dozens of similar projects—from machine learning to platform-scale AI – and at every stage, one thing has held true:
The value of the system isn’t in the model.
It’s in the belief it activates.
So when I first met Dara Ladjevardian and heard about his vision for Delphi.ai, I was intrigued and had to explore his idea of sharing wisdom at scale and building deeper connections.
We spent almost a year building myDelphi—a digital twin trained on the full body of category design knowledge we’ve developed at Play Bigger:
